I’ve been going to this practice for 45years and I’d recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a dentist as they are super friendly, very accommodating and the skills of the staff are fantastic.I’ve needed different procedures through my life and the staff have always made me feel relaxed and supported, informed about the treatment I’m having and patient when I’ve had a wobble….i have never felt judged and their expertise and patience is just amazing. I can’t imagine doing anywhere else and I don’t think I ever will!!5 stars…would absolutely recommend!!! ✨👌🏼

I have just recently joined the practice due to being informed by my previous practice that I was no longer in there books due to not seeing them for some time. At first I was very disappointed at having to find a new dental practice but very pleased to say I had no reason to feel this way, as Lighhouse dental practice so far is lovely. I am very nervous when visiting the dentist but Mr Davis was amazing! He has a very calming demeanour to him and explained everything before doing anything. Honestly I cannot recommend this place enough they seem to have an amazing team and truly care.

Thank you so much to Lighthouse Dental Practice. I had lost all hope, after being dismissed by a rude 111 worker, but Lighthouse Dental Practice managed to get me in the same day for an emergency NHS appointment. The place is clean and warm and is located conveniently just a couple minutes walk from a multi-storey car park and bus station. Every member of staff I met there was lovely, helpful and polite. They made me feel at ease. I now have a treatment plan and feel much more positive about my teeth.

Being a somewhat reluctant dentist patient, it took a lot to get me to make an appointment and I was very nervous. However, the Lighthouse practice were exceptional on making me feel at ease. Everything was explained to me before and during my examination and the dentist had a great bedside manner. I was not pushed into any treatment I didn't need but I was made fully aware of my options. I'm nearly at a point where I'm almost looking forward to further treatment!

As always, my appointment was through. Dr Tocca explained everything he was doing and why. He gave me advice on how to continue my oral hygiene health and helped me understand how look after my sensitive tooth. All round good service as usual. My hygienist explained everything she was doing and gave me some advice on how to continue to have a good oral health routine. Everyone from the ladies on the reception to the assistants who helped Dr Tocca and the hygienist was welcoming and friendly. Thank you.

I visited Lighthouse Dental Practice today and was genuinely impressed by the level of care and attention to detail. During my check-up, I shared my concerns, and the dentist took the time to clearly explain all the available options. I then saw the hygienist, who was fantastic—very thorough and answered all of my questions. The whole practice has a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere. I’m really happy to now be on a dental plan with them!

A really great dentist. They have caring and friendly staff. A calm and modern atmosphere. I also like that they have an online booking system as well as over the phone and in person options. They also sometimes have a dog who sits behind reception and if you ask will let you pet him if you find going to the dentist stressfull.

From Reception to assessment,and further appointments arranged,the process was great. Jade and colleagues made me feel at ease from the moment I went in. I'm not the best patient to have, as I do have problems with my mouth and it's always a worry.Well,to say I'm more than happy now would be the understatement of the year!...can't wait to finish my treatment and feel better about myself. Lovely dentists, my daughter has social anxiety but she loves it here and the dentist is so kind and gentle with her and you can tell she really cares. It's never really hard to arrange appointments and they give you plenty of reminders I find that useful with a busy life. My daughter knocked her tooth out on her scooter and they had her in a couple of hours later and took the best care of her not just that day but follow up appointments after. They treat parents respectfully and make sure you are informed and upto date on your childs dental care at the appointment. I highly recommend this place. Also light clean and friendly environment.

Honestly such a lovely practise all the staff are so sweet and understanding and always feel so comfortable. Jade is so lovely and so is the nurse that works alongside her. I felt completely comfortable talking to her about any concerns i had and didn't feel judged. Really lovely and i always look forward to seeing everyone everytime i have an appointment

The Lighthouse reception staff are always so warm and friendly, and ensure you feel truly welcomed. The dental nurses are also absolutely lovely!My dentist, Jade, is amazing - so friendly, caring and kind, always explains exactly what she is doing. I always feel well looked after, and my nerves about coming to a dentist appointment quickly dissipate when I arrive. I really enjoy my visits and catch ups with Jade! I highly recommend Jade and Lighthouse Dental Practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I started going to Lighthouse 2 years ago after a long period of not going to the dentist. I was terrified but since the first day the team have taken such good care of me. I've appreciated my received dental treatments at this practice and the amicable, courteous approach of reception staff, in particular Hannah Taghdi. Dr Tocca has conscientiously carried out my dental restorations, including promptly rectifying any arising imperfections. He has taken time to patiently answer my questions about treatments and tooth care - as has the similarly approachable Dental Hygienist Summer Halfhide when providing considerate hygiene care.However, I personally find the provided "Statements of Account" (comprising payments & debits for treatments) & their layout rather confusing & not as transparent as they perhaps could be for patients untrained in bookkeeping or accounts (compare the simpler formats issued by banks & many utility companies to their customers).

Dr Tocca is very friendly and patient. I had a back filling done today, was a little nervous to start with, however, I didn't need to be. This is the first time I've had a filling whereby I didn't feel any sort of discomfort. Came away feeling positive and confident in his workmanship.The receptionists are lovely and friendly and the waiting room is nice a chic. I would definitely recommend this practice.

I went to Lighthouse Dental Practice to have Composite Bonding done by Andrea, my sister recommended it here as she went to Andrea 5 years ago for it and she absolutely loves hers. I am getting married this year and I have always been insecure about my front teeth and how they were all different lengths so I went for a consultation and Andrea advised me what she could do and made me feel at ease straight away. I had 8 teeth done and it took around 2.5 hours but the whole experience was lovely, from walking into the practice and how Andrea took her time with me and recommend what was best for me, to the moment I left with the smile I had always wanted! I couldn’t recommend Lighthouse Dental Practice highly enough and especially Andrea, she is amazing at what she does! Thank you so much!!!

I am always given a warm friendly welcome from the reception team. Jade my dentist is wonderful, I've not had a dentist put me at ease so quickly. The treatments were explained very well and delivered excellently with care and consideration throughout.The whole dental surgery also went above and beyond whilst looking after my elderly disabled mother too.I while heartedly recommend Lighthouse Dental Practice.I don't normally leave reviews, but this experience was exceptional.Thank you Jade, Jane and the rest of the team.

Despite my being late as unable to pay for car park , I was greeted by all the staff and my husband was seen anyway. We had problems getting x rays donewe weren’t hurried. The receptionist ( sorry forgot her name ) was lovely and tried hard to help me make a payment at the Car Park. When that failed , and her shift had finished she accompanied us to the car park and payment was successfully made. That was above & beyond and deserves a special mention. Thank you so much

I had an incredible experience at the dentist! The check-up was comprehensive, and every detail was explained to me in a clear and understandable way. This is the first dentists we've been to in over 10 years and the team here were brilliant. Nothing but glowing reviews from us. I saw Dr Tocca whilst my husband saw Dr Andrea and we would recommend both of them. The team on reception were fab and an added bonus was getting to say hi to Paddington the therapy dog! We will be back and will recommend to anyone and everyone we know who can get to Ipswich!

Dr Tocca and his band of dentistry wizards are absolutely spectacular. Gentle dentistry with a calm approach that always leaves me feeling I have had the best attention and care that is designed for me. They never undertake any unnecessary work and any work that they do undertake always feels like its been thoughtful and planned. They also see our young son and their approach has made going to the dentists an exciting trip for him instead of something to be feared - even making sure the dog is in reception when he visits.

After having a bad experience at another local NHS dentist I was anxious about my appointment however as soon as I arrived felt immediately at ease. Jade was extremely clear and explained everything that she was doing alongside what the previous dentist had done to my teeth as this was explained to me at the time. She spent time doing different tests to try and determine the source of my pain and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and that I was supported. My options were made available to me with next steps clearly outlined. I couldn't recommend more!

From the moment I contacted Lighthouse I received an exceptional standard of service. Not being sure of what I required, I initially booked a consultation where Andrea and her assistant were both professional, helpful and informative. I was given a number of options and recommendations and never once felt I was being pushed towards the most expensive option. I eventually chose the recommended option and booked a return visit the following week where the treatment was carried out with care and great attention to detail. Overall I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience and would not hesitate to recommend the practice to any potential customers. Thank you!

Where do i start ? What a wonderful Dental Practice!Today I chose to become a permanent patient with the Lighthouse guys after my emergency appointment here. They made me feel so comfortable and , I now have a clear plan on how to keep my teeth healthy moving forward!I have always had anxiety about attending the dentist AND have only ever been when I've in pain and needing treatment. BUT after seeing Dr Ranson she gave me the confidence to sign up to a dental plan, I now can't wait to go back ha!Amazing staff and great reception team , very welcoming and great communication towards patients.Highly recommend! I really dislike going to the dentist. I ought to take better care of my teeth so the hygienist often has more work to do than ideally they should. But these guys take as much of the pain out of the experience as they can. The most beautiful Bernedoodle (Paddy) in reception was a wonderful bonus. nice and central in town, too.

Ready to move ahead with the actual work now. I also get that dental treatment can be costly if you’re fortunate enough to be able to take the Private route but I was still presented options with super clear explanations. Totally recommended.

As wonderful as possible to be when visiting a dentist. The dentist, hygienist and reception staff always greet with a smile and are patient and reassuring. Having met Paddington the therapy dog at my recent hygienist appointment I'm super excited to be able book him in for cuddles with my son who is incredibly anxious of the dentist. Hes even mentioned being excited for his next appointment knowing he will get to meet Paddington. What an amazing addition to the team at Lighthouse!

I am so thankful I called this surgery for my dental emergency!I am not great with dentists so was very nervous initially as I have had an awful experience in the past with another surgery.The whole team are amazing and so friendly, I felt at ease immediately.The Dentist was so considerate of the pain I was in and made me feel so comfortable that by the end of my appointment I signed up to the dental plan!I would highly recommend this Dentist to anyone.I’m not saying I suddenly love going to the dentist… but I am definitely not dreading it like I used to!

Had an appointment with Hygeinist who was good and cleaned and polished my teeth. Saw lovely dentist who was kind and thorough. Needed an X ray to check but could not tolerate the equipment in my mouth!! She did not press it and I was very happy with the care I received, thank you, including the reception team.

Yesterday I visited Lighthouse Dental. I’m an extremely nervous patient that hasn’t been able to pluck up the courage to attend the dentist since I was a child, 20 years ago!Doctor Tocca was kind, patient and understanding. He explained things well and didn’t rush me.Jane and her therapy dog Paddington were absolutely lovely! It was great spending time with them in their garden/outdoor waiting area. Again, I wasn’t rushed. It was lovely to be made to feel so welcome.I also saw the hygienist Summer, who explained things well.I’d highly recommend visiting this dentist, especially if you’re nervous. I look forward to seeing Paddington again 🐶

Had my first visit today and I am so glad Lighthouse Dental Practice was recommended to me. I was super nervous on arrival but Jane was lovely and brought her gorgeous dog Paddington down to meet me and make me feel calmer. I relocated to Ipswich and was extremely apprehensive about finding a new dentist after a lifetime at my previous practice. I truly believe I have chosen the best dentist in town. The surgery is modern and well decorated, the dental and hygiene care is amazing and well priced for the service you receive and the staff work hard to make sure they can find appointment times that will suit you. Jane and Jasmine deserve a special mention for being friendly and precessional at all times and for putting you at ease. So glad that I am a Lighthouse patient!

After years with a NHS dentist i made the switch at my husband’s recommendation to Lighthouse. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed. All the staff are warm, friendly and ready with a smile. I have recently had a filling and never been so relaxed - it made a wonderful change to my previous dentist elsewhere.Booking appointments is easy, no issues with availability and I haven’t been made to wait months for work to be completed.We are now in the process of moving our entire family over from the old NHS dentist to Lighthouse. Always really happy with the level of care here. Everyone on the team is warm and friendly, and booking is easy. Something that stands out to me is that, at each step, my dentist and hygienist explain what they are going to do before they do it, whether that's a filling or cleaning, so there's never any unexpected discomfort. I always come away feeling looked after :)

Whilst visiting my mum in Ipswich, I needed an emergency appointment to get a molar tooth seen, due to a part of my tooth falling out. I was treated by Andrea Margariti, who was so lovely, professional and very sympathetic to my lifelong phobia of visiting the dentist! I received treatment of a temporary filling, an x-ray and consultation all for a very reasonable price. I would recommend the Lighthouse Dentist practice to locals and visitors alike, for their professional and welcoming practice, and for me, the most important thing was how at ease I did feel, despite feeling extremely anxious before I was seen.Thank you very much, hopefully I won't need your services again, but I know if I ever need a dentist whilst staying in Ipswich in the future, I would not hesitate to use this practice once more.

I transferred from my previous dentist and its the best decision I could have made. The receptionist when calling me was extremely nice and booked me in with Andrea Margariti. The care and service was incredible - I must have told 5 other people the same day of my appointment. Andrea and her assistant were amazing with my nephew while he was waiting and so attentive with their help and guidance with me and my oral hygiene. Couldn't recommend enough!

Excellent care and attention from all at Lighthouse Dental Practice.Jane on reception was wonderful, she listened to my concerns and organised an urgent appointment for my son who had fractured his front tooth.My son was seen within hours by Dr Tocca. He took great care and reassured him throughout the procedure. We cannot believe how good his tooth looks. Thank you to an amazing team!

I had a molar extracted last week, which was done extremely professionally. The dentist did warn me at the time, however, that there was a chance of developing an infection in the cavity, and so it turned out to be. I had been in increasing discomfort, so called the practice this morning, and a slot was found for me at 4:10 this afternoon. The dentist confirmed that although the cavity was healing well, there was some infection, so gave it a good clean, applied of a topical treatment, and prescribed course of antibiotics.The treatment was carried out smoothly and swiftly, and an extremely competent and professional manner. I now feel 100% better, and I'm looking forward to being pain-free over the next few days as the healing continues.The whole experience, from administration and booking to the dental treatment itself and post treatment advice has been extremely reassuring and professional. The systems all work extremely well, there is rarely any delay in answering the telephone, and the records are kept 100% accurate.

I have been a patient at the Lighthouse from the beginning of the practice. I have always been very happy with the my treatment from Doctor Tocca and any other of the dentists I have seen during the years. Time is always given to answer any queries or concerns that I may have had and the receptionists have always been friendly, polite and respectful.This week however, everyone has gone over and above with my recent concernThe reception team, particularly the two Hannahs’ who really went over and above in their duties to assist me. They made strenuous efforts to find out the best way to alleviate my concern, even contacting other colleagues in their systems who they considered could be of help. I did not expect such commitment to a patient They certainly are a huge credit to the practice. I left the building feeling much better than when I arrived. I had an emergency tooth extraction and contacted the practice and was accommodated with two hours. On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly and after registration I was in, tooth out, offered follow up care which I will be taking up. They even put up with my sense of humour. I Could not say enough about the staff and the warm welcome you receive and would highly the recommend the Lighthouse Dental Practice whether your registering for the first time, as I did, or looking to change your dentist.

I was referred to the Lighthouse Practice as I'm extremely nervous and needed some extensive hygiene work doing over two sessions. Dr. Andrea Margariti and her team could not have been more reassuring, patient and kind. My own dental surgery recommended being sedated but after a consultation, Dr. Andrea Margariti advised me to try numbing with injections before going ahead with the more drastic option, which I accepted. I arrived feeling very anxious but was put at ease straight away with empathy and reassurance. The actual work was way less traumatic that I originally anticipated and I really felt hardly anything at all. I took my earphones to drown out the noise and Dr. Andrea Margariti gently alerted me when it was over. I am now feeling so happy that I didn't go ahead with sedation straight away and will be much more relaxed for my next appointment. My experience so far has been amazing! The ladies at the Reception Desk are so friendly and helpful, the communication had been excellent, Dr. Andrea Margariti's Dental Nurse was brilliant and so overall, I would highly recommend this practice over and over again. Thank you so much for all your help!

I was overwhelmed with the speed and quality of my care. I called one day ,had an appointment the next, and my treatment started the next. I am not only receiving quality dental treatment but I've felt supported from the very first call. Jane on reception is lovely, Andrea is a kind, confident dentist and made me feel at ease instantly- a superstar! The hygienist worked wonders and even the trainee is excellent. Plenty of tissues, reminders to breathe and encouragement the whole way.Massive thanks to the whole , incredible team.

This is an amazing dental practice. I needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction and they fitted me in the same day. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but the dentist reassured me the whole way through the process and was professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Best dentist I have ever been too, I have been here for 6-8 years now! Everyone is so friendly, so helpful and always smiling. Dr Tocca is absolutely incredible at what he does, a good few years ago he worked his magic on my teeth which gave me huge confidence and a reason to smile again. Reception staff are so friendly and inviting, I'm always a very anxious person when it comes to dentists due to poor previous experiences at other dentists however even from my initial contact I felt at ease and cared about. Dr Tocca was amazing from the outset at my initial appointment, I really felt like he had my best interests at heart and would do all he could to help with any issues I was experiencing. Overall couldn't recommend enough to anyone looking for a new dental practise.

Finally found a dentist who can see me when I need them as my own dentist didn't seem to really care.Staff are great, friendly and made me feel very welcome. A truly amazing experience from start to quick succession. My dentists were clear, empathetic and explained everything extremely thoroughly. Within a matter of days I had had x-rays and had the problematic tooth removed gently and without any residule pain or throughout. The reception staff were caring, sweet and very helpful. Within 3 days everything was done and I'm finally pain free. Thank you to all involved. Perfection from each and every one. Very much recommend!

I was fortunate in choosing the Lighthouse practice. My previous dentists was National Heath, but they decided to go private and offered to have me as a patient. Given their desire to make more money from me and the fact that they weren’t very good anyway, I decided to look elsewhere. Choosing the Light House practice was the best thing I did.I recently lost my Sister and the practice were very considerate and understanding. I cancelled my appointments many times, once at the last minute.I would recommend the Lighthouse practice to anyone looking for a good professional dentist.

I had a great experience with lighthouse Dental Practice, highly recommend. Dr Tocca is nice and professional. He explained everything throughout the appointment, answered all my questions, as well as gave me good recommendations to maintain a healthy dental care, which is an area I was not confident about. The staff ( receptionist and dental nurse/assistant) are also nice, informative and professional as well.

As an extremely nervous patient, I would highly recommend the lighthouse dental practice.Dr Tocca was extremely patient and understanding. In terms of my anxiety, he explained everything thoroughly, and was happy to spend time giving options and reassurance.I am extremely pleased with the results of my dental work and feel more confident walking into the dentist now.All staff in the practice are friendly and helpful, and it’s a generally a clean and welcoming environment.The one downside of this practice is that I have never been seen on time, I have on occasion waited up to 20 minutes over my appointment time. However I have never been seen on time in any dental practice that I have ever been to. I do not hold this against them at all and would still highly recommend.

Recently had my first crown. Having never had one before, I was slightly anxious at the thought of root canal treatment! Paul Davies was brilliant. Explained everything thoroughly, went through different options with me. The whole process was totally painless.Have also seen Dr Tocca and Kate (my regular dentist) both excellent, as are the reception staff and Treatment Coordinator.Would absolutely recommend Lighthouse.

Reception staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Tocca is great, explains the process really well and did a great wisdom tooth extraction which has healed well. Roberta is a great hygienist and was really helpful in explaining how to improve my dental health.My daughter has sensory issues and usually struggles to even sit in the dentist’s chair. Their dentist Leah Plummer put her at ease and explained the process to her to help with her anxiety and was able to get my daughter to have a full examination and fluoride paste applied. I booked an emergency treatment appointment having had tooth for a few days and unable to get an appointment with my regular practice. I have to say the service was amazing, I'm not the best at the dentist but I can not rate Lighthouse Practice highly enough. They put me at ease, were mindful of how I was feeling and reassured me at all times. It was a tricky extraction I had to have and thank Mark Davis for his persistence and time. He even took the time to call me later in the day to check how I was getting on. 5 Star service and thank you.

It was quite wonderful experience! As I entered the clinic I was terribly scared and highly pressed. Because I’m very pain sensitive guy. The dentist is so nice and professional, he calmed me down and friendly answered my foolish questions. During the time I didn’t feel any pain! It’s an amazing place! Very nice group well trained and professional staffs: not only the dentist as well as the Receptionist and Cooperator.

By far the best dentist I have ever been to. Right from walking into the practice all of the staff show great care and you know they will do their best to help you. Receptionists are friendly, informative and are always communicating with you about appointments. The nurses pay attention to what is going on, reassuring when needed and making you as comfortable as possible. Dr Tocca has been incredible. I would previously have 1 or 2 appointments at previous dentists and then leave due to them rushing through appointments, lack of care and overall feeling very uncomfortable in the room. Dr Tocca is patient, caring and humorous, making you feel completely at ease. Honestly cannot recommend them enough!

I cannot recommend The Lighthouse Dental Practice highly enough. Due to a broken bridge and other issues I was in dire need of treatment.Dr Mark Davis and the team fully explained the procedures and costings after an initial consultation,and with my agreement the work began.Several appointments later I now have an excellent partial denture and can smile again.The care given during, and after,each stage was first class.I would like to send a big thank you to all concerned.
